The Kent Business and Occupation (B&O) tax adopted last October by the City Council is now in full effect.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The B&O tax is intended to help raise an estimated $5 million annually to pay for street repairs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
All companies doing business within Kent city limits must register with the city’s Customer’s Services Division.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Vendors and other suppliers of goods and services to businesses within city limits might have to pay as well.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
