{"id":14856,"date":"2012-07-13T11:59:23","date_gmt":"2012-07-13T18:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/at-the-ridge-theater-presents-youre-a-good-man-charlie-brown\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T09:35:37","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T16:35:37","slug":"at-the-ridge-theater-presents-youre-a-good-man-charlie-brown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/life\/at-the-ridge-theater-presents-youre-a-good-man-charlie-brown\/","title":{"rendered":"At The Ridge Theater presents &#8216;You&#8217;re A Good Man, Charlie Brown&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>At The Ridge Theater presents the musical, &#8220;You&#8217;re A Good Man, Charlie Brown&#8221;, this summer at the Kentridge High School Performing Arts Center, 12430 SE 208th St, Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Main stage performances are 7:30 p.m. July 25-28, Aug. 1-4, Aug 8-11; 2 p.m. July 28, Aug. 4, Aug. 11 and 4 p.m. July 26 and Aug. 5.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The family friendly musical comedy is based on the Charles Schulz comic strip, &#8220;Charlie Brown&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Under the direction of Jennifer Grajewski, the talented cast is comprised of current and graduated high school and college students, including Kentridge High School alumni and students from throughout the region.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>At The Ridge Theater, a nonprofit nonprofit community theatre, is in its 12th year of operation.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>To date, the theater has given out more than $130,000 in college scholarships for local students with their shows and quality arts education programs.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>This summers program focuses on the message of being kind to others and anti-bullying, using characters the audience is familiar with.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Tickets on sale now at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brownpapertickets.com\/event\/259019\" target=\"_blank\">www.brownpapertickets.com<\/a>.
