The Kent School District offers free Child Find screenings for children 3 through 5 years of age who may have a disability.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Screenings will be in the areas of speech and language, vision, hearing, learning and motor development.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Screening will be available at various schools on: Aug. 29; Sept. 12, 26; Oct. 31; Nov. 14; Dec. 12; Jan. 16, 30; March 6, 20; March 6, 20; April 17; and May 15.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

At least one parent must accompany the child to the screening, which takes approximately 1 1\/2 hours and are conducted by certified staff.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Those children found with conditions that interfere with their educational development will receive inclusive education services through the school district.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
