{"id":1454,"date":"2013-10-17T14:15:08","date_gmt":"2013-10-17T21:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-police-arrest-eight-in-domestic-violence-warrant-sweep\/"},"modified":"2016-10-24T00:35:32","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T07:35:32","slug":"kent-police-arrest-eight-in-domestic-violence-warrant-sweep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-police-arrest-eight-in-domestic-violence-warrant-sweep\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Police arrest eight in domestic violence warrant sweep"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Kent Police arrested eight city residents Wednesday who had warrants for domestic violence related cases.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Twenty-seven Kent officers as well as a probation team and state Department of Corrections staff participated in part of a nationwide effort by more than 200 agencies to arrest anyone wanted for family or domestic violence, according to a Kent Police media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Officers attempted to serve 45 warrants in Kent, which led to the eight arrests.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>\u201cCollaborated efforts such as this reinforce to offenders that they will be held accountable for their violence,\u201d Kent Police Sgt.
