• Yogurtland, pioneers of the self-serve frozen yogurt category, has come to Kent.

The new franchise, 10216 SE 256th St., Suite 106, in the East Hill Village Center, next to Kent Meridian High School, is the company’s fifth location in the state. It officially opened Friday.

“Kent is a great market for us as we will be the first in the city and our product is strongly appealing to the local demographic.”

Customers will be able to serve themselves from 12 different sweet and tart flavors that include traditional favorites like cookies and cream and Dutch chocolate.

Since the opening of its first location in Fullerton, Calif. in 2006, Yogurtland has grown to more than 175 locations in the U.S., Mexico and Guam.
