{"id":13716,"date":"2014-01-16T13:40:15","date_gmt":"2014-01-16T21:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-woman-wins-mtr-western-seattles-ultimate-sports-fan-contest\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T13:20:39","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T20:20:39","slug":"kent-woman-wins-mtr-western-seattles-ultimate-sports-fan-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/kent-woman-wins-mtr-western-seattles-ultimate-sports-fan-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent woman wins MTR Western Seattle&#8217;s Ultimate Sports Fan contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Kent resident and Seattle Seahawks fan Nicolle Jefferies received a VIP tour of CenturyLink Field and other prizes as one of 10 winners in the MTR Western Seattle&#8217;s Ultimate Sports Fan contest.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p><a title=\"MTR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mtrwestern.com\/\" target=\"_self\">MTR Western<\/a>, the official bus transportation company of the Seahawks, Mariners and Sounders, began the search for Seattle\u2019s loudest and proudest fans on Jan. 7 through a social media contest asking fans to upload their craziest fan photo with the hashtag #MTRSportsStar.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Ten winners were selected on Monday based on the top photo submissions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Jefferies and the winners on Wednesday were treated to VIP tours of CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field, traveled on the official MTR Western Seahawks motor coach, a VIP tour of the Mariners\u2019 Clubhouse and Press Room, photos on CenturyLink Field and custom jerseys.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>They also each received two tickets to the <a title=\"award\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seattlesports.org\/site446.php\" target=\"_self\">79th Annual MTR Western Sports Star of the Year Awards <\/a>Jan. 22 at Benaroya Hall that honors the top athletes, coaches and teams in Seattle.
