Kent’s spring real estate market started slow as home prices dropped 4.7 percent and sales were down 9.9 percent in March compared to the same month in 2013.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The following numbers for March 2014 compared to March 2013 were compiled by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 Home prices were down 4.7 percent. The median home price was $234,500.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sales were down 9.9 percent with 100 homes sold.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022 Homes sold 5.7 percent slower, spending a median 37 days on the market.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
