Transit customers count on quick access to reliable parking at park-and-rides. Yet many say it\u2019s getting harder to find spaces, especially as more people use transit.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
King County Metro knows some park-and-ride spots are being filled by people who aren\u2019t there to catch a bus, vanpool, or carpool\u2014instead, they\u2019re going to nearby businesses, apartments, or construction sites.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Metro is exploring options to improve management of parking at their lots and garages, and they want your input.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
One option might be permits for priority parking for carpoolers, similar to a program Sound Transit will roll out this fall, go to soundtransit.org\/permitparking<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
