For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n At the Ridge Theatre presents Disney’s classic musical love story, “Beauty and the Beast”, premiering July 25.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Performances are July 25-27, Aug. 1-4 and Aug. 8-10. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays; and 4 p.m. Sundays at the theater, on the Kentridge High School campus, 12430 SE 208th St., Kent,<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The cast consists of performers from throughout the Puget Sound area ages 6-60.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n All profits from the show and K-8 Musical Theatre Camps are awarded to participants in the main stage production in the form of college scholarships. The organization has distributed more than $160,000 in scholarships in the past 12 years. Former participants are now in Broadway tours and professional productions throughout the country, Canada and Asia.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n At the Ridge Theatre is a non-profit community theatre.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Tickets are reserved and $15 apiece. All three Saturday matinees are $5 and the seating is general.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
