{"id":1353,"date":"2008-07-03T20:30:20","date_gmt":"2008-07-04T03:30:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/northwest-warriors-win-regionals-qualify-for-the-caba-world-series\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T17:00:37","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T00:00:37","slug":"northwest-warriors-win-regionals-qualify-for-the-caba-world-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/sports\/northwest-warriors-win-regionals-qualify-for-the-caba-world-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Northwest Warriors win regionals, qualify for the CABA World Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Northwest Warriors, a Kent-based team that draws players from Kent, Auburn and Enumclaw, has earned a trip to the Continental Amateur Baseball Association World Series.<\/p>\n<p>The Warriors secured their tickets to Georgia last weekend with an 8-7 victory against O\u2019Brien Autogroup of Bellevue in the 16-and-under CABA regionals in Redmond.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon Johnson, who was named the tournament\u2019s Most Valuable Player, hit two home runs in the title game, and had four RBIs.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson was among six Warriors who were named to the all-tournament team.
