For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Children’s Home Society of Washington (CHSW) has selected Cindy Berg as the new South King County director who will manage program operations and community partnerships for South King County.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n CHSW has four locations in South King County, including the South King County Family Resource Center in Kent, Early Learning Center at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Green River Child Development Center in Auburn and Jon and Bobbe Bridge Drop-in Child Care Center at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Berg previously served as the director for Childhaven where she managed the Eli Creekmore Memorial Branch in Seattle since 2013. She previously was a child and family therapist for Childhaven from 2006-13. She also served as a case worker for Lutheran Community Services in Spokane for two years.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n She holds a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
