For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Two men are safe after their Fiberglass fishing boat sank 150 feet off the shore on Lake Meridian this morning.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Kent Fire Department RFA was dispatched to the incident at 8:50 a.m., after receiving reports that two men were in the cold waters. When firefighters arrived the men were on a private dock close to where their approximately 17-foot boat floated upside-down.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n According to the men, the boat was operating normally when it suddenly began to take on water. As the boat sank, it flipped over, trapping the men for several seconds. Both were able to get to the surface without injury.
