Those looking to shop locally for their holiday gifts will have plenty to choose from at the Kent Commons Holiday Bazaar set for Dec. 5-6.

The two-day event features more than 100 vendors with unique, handcrafted gifts at the Kent Commons Community Center, 525 Fourth Avenue N.

With vendors from throughout Western Washington, the bazaar will offer a variety of holiday gifts from fine wood tuned items; one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories; candles and soaps; pet novelties; photography and cards; hand blown, stained glass and mosaic items; gourmet treats and more.

According to Kent Park’s recreation facility lead Chris Jordan, the 26-year holiday tradition is a win-win for shoppers.

“It’s a great way to get holiday shopping done without leaving town. With musical entertainment, a variety of food and beverages, and free parking, it makes for a very enjoyable shopping experience,” Jordan said.

The event runs Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
