{"id":12553,"date":"2011-01-07T15:11:57","date_gmt":"2011-01-07T23:11:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-police-arrest-57-during-dui-crackdown\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T17:40:30","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T00:40:30","slug":"kent-police-arrest-57-during-dui-crackdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-police-arrest-57-during-dui-crackdown\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent Police arrest 57 during DUI crackdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent Police arrested 57 people for investigation of driving under the influence during the holiday Drive Hammered, Get Nailed statewide campaign from Nov. 25 through Jan. 2.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 876 motorists were arrested for investigation of DUI in King County and 3,577 were arrested statewide, according to a Washington Traffic Safety Commission media release.<\/p>\n<p>The extra patrols were funded by a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.<\/p>\n<p>During 2009, impaired drivers killed more than half of the 491 people who died on Washington\u2019s roadways.
