Behind Ashley Pernell’s all-around performance, Kentlake captured the All-City Gymnastics Meet Wednesday at Kentwood High School.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Pernell captured the value (9.5 score), bars (9.05) and floor (9.65) to take the all-around (37.30).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The Falcons outdistanced Kentwood, 169.7 to 158.2, for the team title. Kentridge (156.3) was third followed by Kent Meridian (144.2).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Kentridge’s Ellie Hoekman won the beam with a score of 9.25, and finished second in the all-around.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
