Phillips will serve one year as president.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the association also elected Robert McSeveney, a Kent Municipal Court judge, to serve a four-year term on the Washington State Judicial Conduct Commission.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Kent community should be proud of the accomplishments and recognition our judges have obtained statewide to garner the support and confidence of the DMCJA membership,\u201d said Margaret Yetter, city court administrator, in a city media release. \u201cThe judges work hard and take their offices seriously.
