King County prosecutors have charged a 16-year-old Seattle boy with first-degree assault in connection with a Kent shooting April 14 on the East Hill that left a 19-year-old man wounded.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Raqwon J. Slade is scheduled to be arraigned May 3 at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Slade remains in custody at the county jail in Kent with bail set at $250,000.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Slade is charged as an adult because anyone ages 16-17 is considered an adult under state law if charged with a serious violent crime, including first-degree assault.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
