Reporter staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The LuBom brothers combined for 36 points to lead No. 3 Kentwood past No. 10 Kentridge 63-41 in a 4A West Central District 3 boys basketball semifinal Thursday at Puyallup High School.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Darius LuBom scored 21 points and his younger brother, Marcus, added 15 as the Conquerors (22-2) beat the Chargers (18-5) for the third time this season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kentwood faces Federal Way (22-2) at 8 p.m. Saturday at Puyallup in the championship game. The Conquerors are looking to win their first district title since 2009.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kentridge plays Curtis (19-6) for the district’s third seed and a berth to the regional round of the state tournament. Tipoff is 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Tahoma High School.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Kentwood jumped out to a 13-0 lead and never looked back.\u00a0The Conquerors used a 20-6 run in the third quarter to pad a 53-22 cushion heading into the final period.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Joran Ticeson led the Chargers with eight points.
