Theatre Battery, a local theater company geared at bringing theater to Kent, has extended its run of “A Maze” by offering two free shows, at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 6 and 7, at Kent Station, 434 Ramsay Way, Suite 103.

Logan Ellis, Theatre Battery’s co-founder and the production’s director, said the play, which opened July 16, has been well received and he wanted to give anyone in the community a chance to see the production.

“This is an experiment for us to see what happens if we remove all barriers to participation,” Ellis said.
