His injury was not life threatening, according to an email from Kent Police Lt. Pat Lowery.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The man was manipulating a personally owned handgun in the belief it was unloaded, Lowery said. The gun went off and a single round struck the man in the groin.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>At this time, Lowery said police do not anticipate an enforcement action.
