{"id":10870,"date":"2013-10-28T16:13:06","date_gmt":"2013-10-28T23:13:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/fire-strikes-kent-garage-on-east-hill\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T16:25:34","modified_gmt":"2016-10-23T23:25:34","slug":"fire-strikes-kent-garage-on-east-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/fire-strikes-kent-garage-on-east-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire strikes Kent garage on East Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>A recently used lawnmower ignited combustibles to cause a Kent garage fire at about 2:12 p.m. Monday in the 23600 block of 164th Avenue Southeast on the East Hill.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Firefighters from the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority and Maple Valley Fire Department were dispatched to the call and found smoke coming from the residential three-car garage, according to a Kent Fire Department media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>An aggressive attack of the fire kept it from spreading into the main portion of the two-story home.
