{"id":10832,"date":"2016-07-03T17:12:48","date_gmt":"2016-07-04T00:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/firefighters-douse-mobile-home-fire\/"},"modified":"2016-10-22T09:35:25","modified_gmt":"2016-10-22T16:35:25","slug":"firefighters-douse-mobile-home-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/firefighters-douse-mobile-home-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"Firefighters douse mobile home fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p><strong>For the Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Area firefighters extinguished a fire that severely damaged a mobile home in the 24400 block of 64 Avenue South on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>Firefighters from the Kent Regional Fire Authority, responding to the call of a fire first reported at 1:38 p.m., could see a large black column of smoke from several blocks away. When they arrived, they were informed that no one was home, but that there was a dog inside. It took firefighters 15 minutes to fully extinguish the fire, which had burned through the sides and roof of the mobile home.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>A search confirmed that no one was home.
