{"id":10790,"date":"2010-05-18T11:24:50","date_gmt":"2010-05-18T18:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-man-drowns-in-lake-tapps\/"},"modified":"2016-10-23T17:20:27","modified_gmt":"2016-10-24T00:20:27","slug":"kent-man-drowns-in-lake-tapps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-man-drowns-in-lake-tapps\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent man drowns in Lake Tapps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 31-year-old Kent man drowned May 15 in Lake Tapps.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Talaga was recovered by divers from East County Pierce Fire and Rescue and the Pierce County Sheriff&#8217;s Office about 40 minutes after he was last seen, according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pnwlocalnews.com\/pierce\/bch\/news\/93988434.html\">Bonney Lake Courier-Herald.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Paramedics attempted to resuscitate Talaga, but were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p>Talaga reportedly entered the water in the county park&#8217;s swimming area to retrieve a plastic ball.
