Singers and anyone willing to share their musical talents can help local food banks while bringing smiles to shoppers this holiday season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The annual Sing from the Heart event is Dec. 9-11 at all TOP Food & Drug stores. The grocery store will donate a $50 gift card to a local food bank for each hour an individual or group presents holiday music.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Participants may include organizations, quartets, choirs, families or friends.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u201cThese local singers and musicians make the holidays more pleasant while also helping many families,\u201d said Becky Skaggs, spokesperson for TOP Foods.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Sing from the Heart will be presented at each TOP Foods store from 2-7 p.m. Dec. 9, noon-6 p.m. Dec. 10 and noon-5 p.m. Dec. 11. Groups must register in advance for a time at the guest services counter of a TOP Foods store or by calling their local store.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
