Volunteers are wanted to help the city of Kent with the annual Releaf at Clark Lake Park project.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Crews will remove invasive weeds, plant native trees and shrubs and prune the trail.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The event goes from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 8 at the park along Southeast 240th Street. Parking is available for the workday at Eastridge Baptist Church, 12520 S.E. 240th St., across from the park entrance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Wear work gloves and sturdy shoes or boots (no sandals or flip-flops allowed) and bring a shovel or pruners\/loppers if you have them.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Registration deadline is Oct. 5.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
