Tuesday evening dances are open to all ages at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Cover charge is only $4 at the door for all ages, dancers and listeners.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Performing acts include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022 The Kings of Swing are volunteer entertainers who live as far away as Bremerton, Puyallup, Everett and (at one time) North Bend. They were the featured orchestra when Boeing rolled out the new 787 on the tarmac in Everett back in 2007.\u00a0 They are world-class musicians and have toured around the world.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022 Randy Litch and Andy Burnett are one-man-bands who are extraordinary musicians doing live vocals and guitar with pre-set electronic background accompaniment.\u00a0 Litch does a variety of music including ballroom, rock, country, line dance and even polkas.\u00a0 Burnett does mostly rock classics and soft rock, as well as some old-fashioned rock \u2018n roll favorites.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Program schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0First Tuesday: 17-member Big Band Kings of Swing, 7:45 to 9:30 p.m. Refreshments by the Lakeshore or Radcliffe Place<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Second Tuesday: Litch, ballroom dance music, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Refreshments by the Weatherly<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Third Tuesday: Burnett, rock ‘n roll music, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Refreshments by Stafford Suites<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Fourth Tuesday: Litch, ballroom dance music, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Refreshments by Farrington Court<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Fifth Tuesday (when occurring): Litch, ballroom dance music, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Refreshments by Judson Park<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
