{"id":10120,"date":"2011-03-18T13:16:12","date_gmt":"2011-03-18T20:16:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spiken.wpengine.com\/news\/kent-woman-injured-in-interstate-90-single-car-crash\/"},"modified":"2016-10-21T13:40:42","modified_gmt":"2016-10-21T20:40:42","slug":"kent-woman-injured-in-interstate-90-single-car-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kentreporter.com\/news\/kent-woman-injured-in-interstate-90-single-car-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Kent woman injured in Interstate 90 single-car crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>A 21-year-old Kent woman was injured after a car she was a passenger in crashed at about 12:05 a.m. Friday in the Mount Baker Tunnel on Interstate 90 in Seattle.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The Kent woman and a 20-year-old Seattle woman were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to a Washington State Patrol media release.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The Kent woman remained hospitalized in satisfactory condition Friday, according to a Harborview spokeswoman. The Seattle woman was treated and released at the hospital.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>A 2000 Chevrolet Impala was headed eastbound on I-90 in the tunnel when the driver lost control, struck the left wall, crossed all lanes of traffic and hit the right wall and then came to a stop in the lane two.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The male driver left the scene on foot and has not been located. The car had four passengers, including a 17-year-old Seattle girl and a 17-year-old Burien girl who were not injured.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p>The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
