The King County Jaguars are back home at French Field, and will kick off their 2008 minor league football season on Saturday night.

Coming off their third consecutive Northwest Football League championship, the Minor League Football Association West National championship, and an NAFL Pacific Coast Division title, the Jaguars will play host to the Kitsap County Bears at 7:30 p.m.

The Jaguars, with new coach Mike Astley, have left the NWFL and have moved up to the North American Football League.

In addition to tonight’s opener, They’ll play host to the British Columbia Spartans in the Kent Cornucopia Bowl on July 12 (7 p.m.), the East County Blackshirts on July 26 (7 p.m.), the Southern Oregon Renegades on Aug. 16 (7 p.m.), and the Valley Mustangs on Sept. 20 (7:30 p.m.).

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors 62 and older and for military personnel with ID, $7 for students with ASB, and $5 for children ages 6-12.
