Women’s roller derby tournament in Kent this weekend

Sept. 13-15 at ShoWare Center

The top teams in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) are rolling into the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent Sept. 13-15 for the 2019 International WFTDA Playoffs.

Hosted by Rat City Roller Derby, this event brings 12 of the best teams in the world together for three fierce days of competition. The top four teams in the tournament advance to the 2019 International WFTDA Championships in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Nov. 15-17.

Tickets are $65 for a three-day pass and $25 for a single-day pass. Discounts are available for children, college students, seniors (55+) and military personnel. Get tickets at accessoshowarecenter.com or the ShoWare box office, 625 W. James St.
