Tacoma Stars goalkeeper Danny Waltman and forward Dan Antoniuk have been named to the Major Arena Soccer League Team of the Week for week three, the league announced Wednesday.

Waltman recorded 16 saves on 17 shots and allowed only one goal to the Sacramento Surge in Tacoma’s 5-1 victory last Friday at the ShoWare Center in Kent. His one goal allowed was the fewest allowed by a starting goalie in the MASL last week.

Antoniuk led the Stars offense on Friday night with a hat trick, scoring one goal in the opening minute of the match and a pair of goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

Fans can cast their vote for MASL Player of the Week every week of the season at maslsoccer.com.

Joining Waltman and Antoniuk on the MASL Team of the Week are Missouri Comets defender Robert Palmer, Ontario Fury defender Kiley Couch, Baltimore Blast midfielder Vini Dantas and Soles De Sonora forward Alejandro Leyva.

The Stars continue their first full season in the MASL with a road trip that includes a match with the Turlock Express on Friday, Nov. 13, and a pair of contests against the Sacramento Surge on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15.
