Sports complex fields at the city of Kent’s Wilson Playfields and Hogan Park at Russell Road are open for reservations with King County under Phase 2 of the Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery plan.
“While our athletic complexes remain closed to public and drop-in use, they are open for reservations and permitted use,” according to the city Parks Department. “Phase 2 allows for low, moderate, and high-risk sports competitions with a maximum of 200 people in attendance (including players, coaches, officials and spectators combined). Tournaments remain prohibited.”
• Wilson Playfields, 13028 SE 251st St., offers an all-weather turf surface with three baseball/softball fields, three soccer fields, three flag football fields and a lacrosse field.
• Hogan Park at Russell Road, 24400 Russell Road, features five softball/baseball fields and one soccer field, with Field 1 open now because it features all-weather turf for baseball, softball or soccer.

“We are slowly reintroducing programming under these guidelines; our intention is to start small as we gain experience and confidence in delivering programs under these new constraints,” according to the Parks Department. “We will continue to grow our offerings as we can to ensure the utmost safety for our participants.”
