T-Birds welcome new hotel partner

The Seattle Thunderbirds announced Jan. 12 that the Best Western River's Edge Hotel located in Southcenter is the newest T-Bird hotel sponsor.

The Seattle Thunderbirds announced Jan. 12 that the Best Western River’s Edge Hotel located in Southcenter is the newest T-Bird hotel sponsor.

The River’s Edge is five miles from the ShoWare Center and offers a free shuttle to all T-Birds games, in addition to a complimentary airport shuttle, parking and hot breakfast.

Fans looking to stay in the Kent area after a T-Birds game, or visiting fans following their teams, can contact the River’s Edge directly for the special WHL rate at 1-800- 544-9863 or online at the River’s Edge Web site. If purchasing tickets, online fans must enter the Promo Code “tbirds” to get the special rate.

T-Birds’ single-game tickets for the 2009-10 season are available online at the T-Birds Web site. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.
