For the Reporter
The Tacoma Stars have announced the return of veteran Chase Hanson for the 2018-19 Major Arena Soccer League season.
As per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not released.
Hanson was among team leaders with a .429 shooting percentage last season. Along with four assists, Hanson picked up six goals on just 14 shots.
The Federal Way native and Seattle University alum has appeared in 60 MASL games in his career with 25 total points (12G-13A). 21 of Hanson’s appearances came last season.
“Chase is a local player and he has been as steady as can be for us,” said Stars coach Darren Sawatzky. “He is a great pro, and he gets better with each season. I look forward to his leadership and continued competitive fervor in the coming months.”
The Stars are back in action Dec. 1, with an expanded schedule that includes 12 regular-season matches at the accesso ShoWare Center.
