The Kent-based Tacoma Stars and Washington Premier Football Club have formed a partnership that will bridge outdoor and arena soccer for fans and players.
Seth Spidahl, director of coaching for Washington Premier, is looking forward to the partnership and what it will bring to the region.
“We are very excited to be partnering with the Tacoma Stars,” he said. “Their name and brand have been a staple in the Tacoma area for many years. As a youth soccer club that services the South Sound area, we look forward to growing and developing this relationship along with new programs and opportunities.”
Stars owner Lane Smith added: “Washington Premier is a pioneer in youth soccer. We are proud and excited to team up with them to create great opportunities for their players, families, Tacoma Soccer Center and Tacoma Stars. Joining together with the region’s youth organizations is going to help us promote soccer throughout the Puget Sound region.”
Premier players will take part in many of the activities with the Stars at the accesso ShoWare Center during the 2019-2020 MASL season.
Youth soccer players can benefit from this partnership this summer by signing up for a Stars camp on Aug. 12-14 at the Washington Premier Football Club Complex in Puyallup. Click here to sign up.
