A field of 126 teams competed for top divisional honors at the sun-kissed, eighth annual ShoWare Shootout last Saturday and Sunday.
The event, presented by Republic Services, is one of South King County’s premier three-on-three basketball events and featured age divisions for men, women, seniors, kids and wheelchair. Games were played throughout both days on outdoor courts sprinkled throughout the ShoWare Center’s west parking lot.
The 20 teams that survived the bracket racket and were crowned champions:
4th grade boys – 26ers
5th grade boys – Hype
6th grade boys – Street Ballerz
7th grade boys – South Ballers
8th grade boys – Big Bricks
9th grade boys – Fo Headz
High school boys – IDK
Adult men division 1 – A Town’s Finest
Adult men division 2 – Bad Boys
Adult men division 3 – Stah Reds
4th grade girls – Tukwila Reign
5th grade girls – Heartbreakers
6th grade girls – Bonney Lake Panthers
7th grade girls – GOAT
8th grade girls – Sumner Golden Girls
9th grade girls – Royals
High school girls – Lady Conks
Junior wheelchair – Swat Team
Wheelchair – Para Heros
