He was acquired by the T-Birds in a trade with the Brandon Wheat Kings for goaltender Jacob De Serres on Oct. 15, 2009. Brendan played 61 games for the T-Birds scoring 6 goals and 18 assists for 24 points with 40 penalty minutes. Brendan had two 3-point games during the season. He had a goal and two assists against Lethbridge Oct. 30 and at Everett Nov. 14.
