The Kent-based Seattle Mist face the Los Angeles Temptation in a Legends Football League playoff game on Saturday in Chicago for the Western Conference title of the women’s indoor football league.
Seattle has a 4-1 record while Los Angeles is 3-2-1. The Mist have a 2-1 record this season against the Temptation. The winner advances to the Legends Cup on Aug. 23 at the ShoWare Center. The Chicago Bliss and Atlanta Stream play in the Eastern Conference title game on Saturday.
Quarterback KK Matheny leads the attack for the Mist, who have never advanced to the championship game. Los Angeles has won three titles, but none since 2012.
The Mist-Temptation game will be shown on Fuse TV at 9 p.m. on Aug. 22. Check local listings for the channel.
