Isaac Cordova threw for 350 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-winner with three seconds left in the game, as Kent-Meridian pulled out a dramatic 35-28 North Puget Sound League Sound Division win over Thomas Jefferson at Federal Way Stadium last Saturday.
The Royals (2-1 division, 3-4 overall) meet Mount Rainier (2-1, 2-5) for the division’s No. 2 NPSL crossover playoff berth Friday. Kickoff is 5 p.m. at Highline Stadium in Burien.
Cordova connected with Jordan Wigfall on three scoring strikes, including a 33-yarder that tied the game with 2:02 left to play.
The Royals recovered a fumble at the Raiders’ 33-yard line with 34 seconds remaining, setting up Cordova’s 25-yard, game-winning TD pass to Nate Jones.
Jones finished with 10 catches for 151 yards.
Aaron Tulloch scored on a 2-yard run for K-M.
The Royals compiled 417 yards of offense.
Charles Wight ran for 253 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders (1-3, 1-6).

Kentwood 37, at Tahoma 6: Jalin Church ran for two touchdowns, leading the Conquerors past the Bears in an NPSL Mountain Division game in Maple Valley last Friday night.
Gabriel Johnson and Akil Brown each ran for scores, and Siolei Saokai returned a fumble 22 yards for another TD for Kentwood (2-2, 2-5).
Tahoma dropped to 1-3 and 3-4.
The Conks host Kennedy Catholic on Thursday.
At Auburn Mountainview 31, Kentlake 17: Sophomore Berkley Alfrey ran for 103 yards and a touchdown and Carson Klemetsen threw a TD to Jeremiah Penn as the Lions (2-1, 2-5) clinched an NPSL crossover playoff berth with a Valley Division win against the Falcons (1-3, 4-3) on Oct 11.
Auburn Mountainview erupted for 21 fourth-quarter points to seize the victory
Brandon Miguel returned an interception 78 yards for a touchdown and Teagin Child returned another 55 yards for a TD in the win.
The Lions finish the regular season at Hazen on Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Renton Stadium.
Lions (2-1 division, 2-5 overall) earned one of the Valley’s four playoffs spots to the league crossover playoffs Oct. 26-27. The Falcons (1-3, 4-3) remain in the hunt but need help to reach the postseason.
Kentlake faces Thomas Jefferson at 7 p.m. Friday at French Field.
