Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: My family is all about sports. That’s what I love to do.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My dad, J.C. Cowan, helps me on and off the field, always telling me to do the little things, then the big things will happen.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Look up my favorite baseball player and watch his highlights and mechanics that will improve my game.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: Not really a song, but a motivational video called “Why Do We Fall?” by Hans Zimmer.

Erika is a standout in tennis, finishing in third place last year at state. She is a two-year All-Cascade Division Team and Singles Player of the Year.
