Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Woodworking with Mr. Prince.
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: I have my own landscaping business.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad, Tim, has never gone easy on me and has high expectations for me. I’m thankful for all he has taught me.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: Listen to “Gonna Fly Now” (“Rocky” theme song) to get pumped up. Post-game, eat a protein shake and bar.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: Any TobyMac song.

“Austin has worked his tail off from his freshman year and now will be one of our team captains. He is also part of JROTC and is a great person. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever coached. He never gives up and is a positive influence to the game of soccer. His teammates love him, respect him and look for his leadership on the field. He was a very shy kid when he started, always had high effort, not necessarily the most athletic on the field. He continued to work on his craft and because of his work ethic, he will be a starter for Kentwood this season. I am very excited to watch this young man this year, but more importantly, to watch what he does in life.”

A: History.

A: I enjoy reading and going to the movies.

A: My dad has been my biggest inspiration in life.

A: Before the game, I like to listen to music to prepare.
