ASHLANN WOOD, Kent-Meridian
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Soccer.
• Accomplishment: Wood helped the Royals end a run of 31 straight scoreless matches, when found the back of the net on an unassisted goal against Kentlake.
• Favorite class: Chemistry.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Mia Hamm and President Obama. I would serve chicken Caesar salad and fettuccine alfredo.
• Favorite movie: Wimbledon.
• Most recent book read/author: “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee.
• What’s on your iPod?: Johnny & June by Heidi Newfield; We are Golden by Mika and Shooting Star by Drake.
• Also noted: Wood is part of K-M cheer, the HPFC Eagles and hopes to attend the University of Oregon after graduation.
MAGGIE MOLLOY, Kentwood
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Swimming.
• Accomplishment: Molloy helped the Conquerors upend Kentridge for the first time since 2002, winning the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke along with swimming a leg on the winning 400 relay team.
• Favorite class: Orchestra.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Michael Phelps because he’d have a lot of awesome stories about all the places he has been and all the things he has accomplished. I’m not sure what I would make (for dinner), but I am sure I’d make a lot of it because I hear he eats like 10,000 calories a day.
• Favorite movie: Sweeney Todd. Most recent book read/author: “The Boy Detective Fails” by Joe Meno.
• What’s on your iPod?: Aiden, Schoolyard Heroes, Iglu & Hartley, AFI.
JARED FULLER, Kentwood
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Fuller rushed 14 times for 62 yards, including three touchdowns, leading the Conquerors past Tahoma 21-14 last Friday night in a South Puget Sound League North Division game.
• Favorite class: Math.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (Soccer player) Landon Donovan and I would serve chicken alfredo with garlic bread and salad.
• Favorite movie: The Bourne Ultimatum.
• Most recent book read/author: “The Simple Truth” by David Baldacci.
• What’s on your iPod?: A little of everything.
ALLISON CHIN, Kentridge
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Volleyball.
• Accomplishment: Chin cranked up 15 kills in a five-game match victory over Kentwood last week. It’s the first time since 2002 that Kentridge has beaten Kentwood.
• Favorite class: Theater Arts.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (professional beach volleyball player) Kerri Walsh and we would eat prime rib.
• Favorite movie: Transformers and The Hangover.
• Most recent book read/author: I don’t like reading, but I will read magazines.
• What’s on your iPod?: Anything from The Rolling Stones to Tech Nine.
LATRELLE DUKES, Kentlake
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Dukes rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries, leading the Falcons past Thomas Jefferson last week, 37-26. During Week’s 2 and 3 in the SPSL North, Dukes rushed for five touchdowns and a combined 306 yards.
