• Accomplishment: Tanasse has burst onto the local swim scene this season as she entered the week already having qualified for three events (100 free, 200 free, 100 back) at the state meet.

ERIN CAMPBELL
Kentwood
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Volleyball.
• Accomplishment: Campbell collected 13 kills and added 12 digs, leading Kentwood past Kentridge last week in a South Puget Sound League North Division match.
• Favorite class: AP Language and Composition.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Indiana Jones because I love watching his movies, and I would serve parmesan potatoes and steak. I love steak. Indiana Jones would really make a fun dinner.
• Favorite movie: “She’s the man.”
• Most recent book read/author: “House of Spirits” by Isabel Allende.
• What’s on your iPod?: Three by Britney Spears, Haven’t met you yet by Michael Buble, and Transform by Chris Brown.
• Also noted: Campbell is part of the National Honor Society, sports a 3.95 grade-point average and plans on majoring in mechanical engineering in college.
QUIJAAN LAWSON
Kentwood
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Lawson returned returned a fumble back for a touchdown and did the same with an interception during last Friday’s 55-0 throttling of Jefferson.
• Favorite class: Co-op Sports.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Beyonce and we would have a nice, romantic dinner with salmon, salad and apple pie.
• Favorite movie: “Next Friday” because it’s the funniest comedy ever made.
• Most recent book read/author: “The Wide Window” by Lemony Snicket.
• What’s on your iPod?: “Mr. D-O Double-R” by Durrough.
• Also noted: Lawson hopes to earn a scholarship to play football at the Division I level.
SEAN RINGOR
Kentridge
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Football.
• Accomplishment: Ringor delivered what proved to be the winning touchdown last week against Tahoma, pulling in an interception, then going 32 yards the other way, leading the Chargers past the Bears 17-14.
• Favorite class: Weight Training.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Kobe Bryant and I would serve fried chicken and lumpia.
• Favorite movie: Friday.
• Most recent book read/author: “The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown.
• What’s on your iPod?: “One Love” by Trey Songz.
• Also noted: Ringor is the president of the Kingsmen, will be attending Bellevue Community College next year and plans on transferring to the University of Washington after two years. He hopes to become a longshoremen.
DJ JIGRE
Kent-Meridian
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Cross country.
• Accomplishment: Jigre keyed Kent-Meridian’s 28-29 win over Kentwood, breaking the tape with a meet-winning time of 17:17. The win helped the Royals win the South Puget Sound League North Division title, the school’s first crown in a team sport since 2001
• Favorite class: Leadership.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my coaches and my teammates and I would serve Pho.
• Favorite movie: All the Harry Potter movies.
• Most recent book read/author: “AK” by Peter Dickinson
• What’s on your iPod?: “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion.
PAUL YI
Kentridge
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Tennis.
• Accomplishment: Yi improved to 7-0 in South Puget Sound League North Division singles play, knocking off Tahoma’s Alex Costanzo 6-0, 6-3 in a win over the Bears that helped the Chargers seal the league crown.
