STEELE WARNER, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Football.

Accomplishment: Warner returned a fumble for a touchdown and added another score on a Kentwood playoff record 91-yard run, leading the Conquerors past Heritage 57-14 in a Class 4A state preliminary game.

Favorite class: Electronics.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Marc Ballinger because he is my neighbor, and we would have Taco Bell because that’s the food of champions.

Greatest athletic moment: When I returned a fumble for a touchdown against Kent-Meridian because that was my first defensive TD.

What’s currently playing on your iPod: “Put it in my video” by Childish Gambino.

DERRICK DAIGRE, Kent-Meridian

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Cross Country.

Accomplishment: Daigre took 21st at the Class 4A state cross country meet, clocking out in 16:04. Daigre’s time was the best among all local qualifiers.

Favorite class: Business Marketing.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite K-M volleyball phenomenon Cherene O’Hara, and I would serve cheesy potatoes because I know she likes them.

Greatest athletic moment: Being captain of the 2010 boys cross country team.

What’s currently playing on your iPod: “Bang, Bang” by K’naan.

In 10 years, I will be … : Still defending my world-record in the 800-meter at 1:40.98.

CASSIDY BROKOFSKY, Kentlake

Grade: Freshman.

Sport: Soccer.

Accomplishment: Brokofsky held Rogers to just one goal in a 2-1 victory that helped the Falcons seal their first Class 4A state playoff berth since 2003.

Favorite class: Marketing.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite David Beckham because he is super fine. I would serve steak because that would make me look like I have good taste in food.

Greatest athletic moment: Saving a penalty kick and ending the game 1-0 in the championship with my Crossfire team.

Most recent book read/author: “Ironman” by Chris Crutcher.

In 10 years, I will be … : In a huge house, playing video games and soccer.

MOLLY SHIROISHI, Kentridge

Grade: Junior.

Sport: Cross Country.

Accomplishment: Shiroishi, in her first year of cross country, advanced all the way to the Class 4A state meet, where she took 68th with a time of 19:54.7. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Adam Brody and we would go out for ice cream on a beach in California.

Favorite class: AP Psychology.

Greatest athletic moment: Going to state in the 800 and 4 x 400 relay two years ago.

MARIAH LEE, Kentwood

Grade: Freshman.

Sport: Soccer.

Accomplishment: Lee found the back of the net a pair of times in a 5-0 South Puget Sound League tournament victory over Rogers Nov. 3. The win helped Kentwood nab the No. 5 seed to the district tournament.
