• Accomplishment: Crowley helped the Falcons get off to a quick start, going 3-for-4 with 3 runs and an RBI in a win over Lake Washington,, then going 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in a win over Mount Rainier.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (Professional baseball player) Mike Cameron, and I’d have to invite (teammate) Erika Smyth to come along because she would make me. I would make fried rice (and) macaroni and cheese.

ELIANA SPERO

• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Tennis.
• Accomplishment: Spero opened the season on a strong note last week, cruising past Thomas Jefferson’s Averi Kitch in two sets, 6-0 and 6-0.
• Favorite class: AP Language and Composition.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would take our wonderful principal Mr. Potts to the new McDonald’s and play on the play place!
• Favorite Movie: White Chicks.
• Most recent book read/author: “Invisible Man” by Ralph Ellison.
• What’s on your iPod?: Bob Marley, Sherwood, and Lil’ Wayne.
• Also noted: One of the SPSL North’s top-returning tennis players, Spero also is strong in the classroom, where she sports a 3.85 grade-point average.
KEVIN CLUTTER
Kent-Meridian
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Baseball.
• Accomplishment: Clutter helped the Royals pick up their first win of the season in their very first game, going 2-for-5 with an RBI at the plate, and throwing 3 scoreless innings without allowing a run on the mound.
• Favorite class: Anthropology.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Derek Jeter and Carrie Underwood. I’d serve them anything they want.
• Greatest athletic moment: Sophomore year, league win vs. Decatur.
• What’s on your iPod?: Kanye West and Carrie Underwood.
• Also noted: Clutter sports a 3.9 grade-point average and is part of the Running Start program at Green River Community College. He will be attending Washington State University in the fall.
HAYLEY CRUSCH
Kentridge
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Fastpitch.
• Accomplishment: Crusch went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a double in Kentridge’s 7-3 season-opening win over Beamer.
• Favorite class: Chemistry.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Rianna Bidon because she’s my best friend and we have the best of times together. We would probably eat Bubba Gump in Maui, Hawaii.
• Greatest athletic moment: When I went to Colorado for fastpitch and hit the game-winning home run.
RYNE SHELTON
Kentlake
• Grade: Sophomore.
• Sport: Baseball.
• Accomplishment: Shelton, who transfered from Timberline High in Olympia, enjoyed a big debut with the Falcons, going 3-for-4 with four RBIs, 2 stolen bases and striking out eight in four scoreless innings of work.
• Favorite class: Algebra 3/4.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would serve snow cones to Aesop Rock.
• Favorite movie: The Crazies … I just saw it this past weekend with my girlfriend.
• Most recent book read/author: “The Heroin Diaries” by Nikki Sixx.
• What’s on your iPod?: “Shoulda Known” by Atmosphere.
