Accomplishment: Marlowe outlasted teammate Sean Farr 8-5 in the championship match of the 130-pound bout at the sub-district tournament.

Greatest athletic moment: Going to state as a sophomore because I hadn’t experienced anything like that before.

JASON BOYCE, Kentwood
Grade: Senior.
Sport: Basketball.
Accomplishment: Boyce, Kentwood’s leading scorer, delivered again last Friday, depositing 20 points to lead the Conquerors over Tahoma 77-60.
Favorite class: English. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: My brother Aaron, Martin Luther King Jr., (teammate) Alec Wilson and I’d serve my mom’s garlic chicken pizza.
Greatest athletic moment: Winning the state basketball title (last year) and the 2010 football season.

JOSH SMITH, Kent-Meridian
Grade: Sophomore.
Sport: Wrestling.
Accomplishment: Smith pulled the biggest upset of the sub-district tournament, entering the day as the No. 4 seed and leaving with the title after working over Mount Rainier’s A.J. Antoigue 23-13.
Favorite class: Math.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite John Wooden because I like to know what made him the best (college basketball) coach. I would serve steak, lobster, mashed potatoes, vegetables and sparkling apple cider.

KAYLIN MOSLEY, Kentridge
Grade: Junior.
Sport: Basketball.
Accomplishment: Mosley finished the season on a high note, scoring a season-high 9 points against Mount Rainier.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Definitely University of Washington pitcher Danielle Lawrie, and I would serve spaghetti and garlic bread.
Favorite class: Sports medicine.
Greatest athletic moment: Making varsity fastpitch as a freshman, making varsity basketball this year.

In 10 years, I will be … : Graduated from college and either hired to be a physical therapist or start my own business as a physical therapist.
SARAH TOEAINA, Kentwood
Grade: Freshman.
Sport: Basketball.
Accomplishment: Toeaina scored a team-high 13 points, lifting the Conquerors over Tahoma 42-37.
If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Peyton Siva and my grandpa. We would eat ice cream from Cold Stone (chocolate devotion).
Favorite class: Math. Greatest athletic moment: Beating Tahoma for my grandpa.
