As we inch closer to the end of the fall season, every game, meet and match grow in intensity. The Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center hosted the All-City meet between all four Federal Way schools. We talked to one swimmer from each school in Federal Way and got their own unique perspective on the meet. We then traveled to the brand-new Federal Way Memorial Field where Todd Beamer hosted Thomas Jefferson in girls’ soccer. Todd Beamer then hosted Auburn High School on the gridiron in a crucial 3A NPSL matchup that went the way of the Trojans, who remain undefeated in league play. And finally, we cap off this episode with Hazen ending a 10-game, 20-year losing streak to Liberty on the road.

In this episode, lots of tightly contested teams went at it from the Week of Oct. 2-6. Lindbergh High School girls soccer took down Renton 2-0. Thomas Jefferson boys tennis took down Auburn Riverside to potentially split the 2023 league championship. But Raven freshman Jeremy Yang won his match to remain undefeated this season. Auburn Riverside volleyball remains unbeaten in league with a straight set victory over Kentlake.
