In an upsetting end to his season, Kentridge wrestler Zach Seibel dislocated his knee in his first match at the WIAA XXVI Mat Classic at the Tacoma Dome on Friday.

The 170-pound match, against Tyler Vargas of Chiawana of Pasco, saw Seibel up 9-4 before the round-ending injury.

While this won’t end his wrestling career if he chooses to wrestle at Washington State University, Seibel was still “very upset,” said coach Todd Lantz.
