The Kentwood High football team opens the season on Friday at Woodinville.
Head coach Michael Bush is back for his second year with the Conquerors.
When looking ahead to the new season, Bush said the Conks weakness is there are only three returning starters from last season.
He said there will be about six seniors starting in the season opener. On the flip side, Bush also said that Kentwood’s youth is a strength as well as a weakness.
“This years coaching staff has an opportunity to mold these young players and help them grow,” he said.
