Kentlake sweeps Tahoma in two-game series | Photo Gallery

The Kentlake Falcons baseball team is pulling away in the No. 1 spot in the North Puget Sound League 4A Cascade division.

The Falcons are 10-2 in league play and 10-4 overall.

Kentlake faced the No. 3 Tahoma Bears (7-5, 10-6) in a two game series this week. The Falcons won both games.

Tuesday Kentlake won 8-1 and Wednesday 7-3.

The wins against Tahoma snapped a two game losing streak for the Falcons.

Up next is a non league away game at 4 p.m. at Auburn High School.

The Bears are now on a three game losing streak that began April 12 against the No. 2 Kennedy Catholic, 7-3.

Tahoma’s scheduled game against Todd Beamer Friday has been postponed until a later date.

Next up is a two game series against the Kentridge Chargers.

Game one is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 at Kentridge.

Kentwood

The Conquerors haven’t played a game since April 12 when it beat Kentlake 4-0.

Kentwood is sitting in the No. 4 spot behind Tahoma with a 6-3, 8-4.

The Conks next scheduled game is 4 p.m. April 21 against Kentridge at home.
