Five Kentridge High School swimmers were named to the 4A North Puget Sound League all-league teams. Kentridge’s swim and dive team won the 4A NSPL Cascade division title, the league title and took second in the 4A West Central District championship meet.
Swimmers named to the all-league first team were sophomore Annelise Hed, Kentwood; sophomore Elise Pratt, Enumclaw; freshamn Emiri Nishizawa, Tahoma; freshman Grace Gallagher, Kentridge; senior Haley Childress, Kentridge; sophomore Jewel Springer, Decatur; senior Lindsey Hanger, Tahoma; senior Rachel Beal, Mount Rainier; senior Shauna Monahan, Tahoma; and freshman Shayla Markle, Kennedy Catholic.
First team divers were junior Abbie Jo Carlson, Enumclaw, and senior Kate Beliveau, Kentlake.
All-league second team swimmers were junior Alicia Reiff, Mount Rainier; junior Delaney Fulton, Mount Rainier; sophomore Haley De Priest, Kentridge; sophomore Hannah Ruckman, Kentlake; sophomore Iliana Hammerstrom, Tahoma; freshman Jade Le, Auburn Mountainview; freshman Jayda So, Kent-Meridian; junior Julia Seibel; Kentridge, senior Michaela Childress, Kentridge; senior Olivia Halbert, Tahoma; and freshman Raegan Marek, Mount Rainier. Second team divers were sophomore Cassie Padilla, Kentlake, and senior Madeline Kemp, Kennedy Catholic.
Hanger was named athlete of the year and Kentwood coach Sharon Wright received coach of the year honors.
